Program Requirement: Skaters five years of age through to older children and teenagers. CSA approved helmet mandatory to badge 4.
- Program is professionally developed and nationally tested learn‐to‐skate program that provides a solid foundation for all skating sports: hockey, ringette, figure and synchronized skating, speed skating, and of course - recreational skating.
- Skaters move through different stations which focus on the grouped skating skills of: Go Forward, Go Backward, Stop, Turn, Spin and Jump.
- Skaters are evaluated regularly and progress through the six stages at their own pace.
- Two sessions weekly are recommended for more significant progress.
